Computers in a Workplace

I have decided to research the topic of computers in the workplace, namely in the healthcare industry. Computers are extremely useful in the medical field because they simplify the process of locating information, simplify the work of medical professionals, and bring about improvements in patient care. In the medical field, computers are frequently used to keep medical records, which provides physicians with rapid access to information regarding the health of their patients. Other applications of the software include the billing of insurance companies and the filing of medical claims, the ordering of supplies and medicines, the planning of treatments, the development of 3D models of organs, and the study of diseases. Keeping track of test results and meetings is made possible at hospitals and clinics through the use of computers. To expedite the procedure, many organizations have developed electronic prescription tools. 


While I was in the first and second years of my undergraduate studies, I participated in a nursing program, which allowed me to obtain experience in the nursing profession. During the time that the nurses who were instructing us were jotting down information, all of it was being stored on the laptops or computers that they used for their employers. It was much simpler for the nurses to evaluate and treat their patients when they had the patient's charts on their laptops. Additionally, it was much simpler for them to verify that the information they had on their computers was true whenever they had the chart on their laptops. 


It is my opinion that during the next ten years, how the healthcare industry functions will be significantly impacted by the operating systems and computer hardware that are currently in use. The field of artificial intelligence (AI) is seeing rapid expansion, which is causing significant shifts in the way that systems function. At this point in time, the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) by medical practitioners is considered to be standard procedure when they are looking for treatments for uncommon diseases. Over time, this will make it feasible to enhance the level of care that is provided to patients.

My name is Abreya, and I was born and raised in the Upstate region of South Carolina. I am employed at a factory that manufactures medical devices as a CNC operator. Since I worked in computer communications while serving in the military, I have received some training in information technology.
