About Me

My name is Abreya, and I was born and raised in the Upstate region of South Carolina. I am employed at a factory that manufactures medical devices as a CNC operator. Since I worked in computer communications while serving in the military, I have received some training in information technology. Since my job requires me to input data and work with coding for the equipment I am operating, I also work with information technology.    


My goals for my professional life are to either secure a position with the Department of Homeland Security or work in the field of cybersecurity as a security analyst for a gaming firm. Because of my previous experience in the military and my desire to assist in the protection of the information of people that offer joy to others, such as Insomniac Games or Rockstar Games, I decided to go with these two specific companies.   


I am hoping that by the end of this course, I will have a more in-depth understanding of computer systems and operations. In addition, I will learn how to identify potential dangers, which is the foundation upon which I intend to build my professional life. I am going to be able to learn new things and increase my skill set through the help of this course, which will also be beneficial to me academically and professionally.

Scratch Experience

Scratch In the beginning of my experience with Scratch, which is a programming language, I encountered a great deal of difficulty with it. I was not familiar with the program because I had not used it since I was in middle school. This was the reason why I was uncertain about it. The reason I did not feel comfortable with it was because of this matter.
